Verse 1
Radha is the embodiment of rasa, Krishna is the embodiment of rasa -- who can know, tell me, what is in your heart?
Verse 2
You, though intensely angered, do not sit turned away in estrangement -- both of you have entered deep into the Vrindavana forest.
Verse 3
What shall I say, O sakhi -- I laugh even as I try to speak of it -- how wondrous, how wondrous are the pastimes of these two!
Verse 4
Their eyes, heavy with love, filled with gazing at each other's path, as they reached the darkness at the heart of the forest bower.
Verse 5
When each of the two was asked where they were going, each one's mind grew evasive; each one instead spoke only the name of their own companion.
Verse 6
In confusion they spoke words touching the heart's secret; their companions understood that the two were now folded in each other's embrace.
Verse 7
When the two met and embraced each other -- Govinda Dasa says, who can tell what then took place!
