Kapatam Idam Tava Vindati

Verse 1
kapaṭam idaḿ tava vindati hare
nāvasaraḿ punar āli-nikare dhruva
Verse 2
yāḿ sevitavān asi jāgarī
tvām ajayat sā niśi nāgarī
Verse 3
mā kuru śapathaḿ gokula-pate
vetti ciraḿ kā caritaḿ na te
Verse 4
mukta-sanātana-sauhṛda-bhare
na punar ahaḿ tvayi rasam āhare
Verse 1
This deceit of yours, O Hari, is now known — you will find no further opportunity among this circle of companions.
Verse 2
That wakeful woman whom you served through the night — she, the clever lover of the night, has now conquered you.
Verse 3
Do not swear any oath, O lord of Gokula — who is there that has not long known your true character by now?
Verse 4
Having abandoned the burden of our old, constant friendship, I will never again draw any pleasure from you.
