Tucked away in Chandpole Bazaar, this temple is a hidden gem that most tourists walk past on their way to the City Palace or Hawa Mahal. It’s the only temple dedicated to Lord Ram in Jaipur , and that alone makes it worth seeking out. What stands out: The temple was built in the 19th century by the Queen of Jaipur under the rule of Sawai Ram Singh II , and it’s built in a Haveli style, with an inner courtyard that feels more like a royal palace than a typical mandir . The sanctum has a beautifully painted ceiling and walls, with scenes from the Ramayana  - including Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile.  The artwork alone is worth the visit. Locals say this is the only temple with a Ram Darbar in Jaipur, and one of the few in North India outside Ayodhya itself.  It’s also known as one of the only temples in the region where all four brothers (Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughna) are enshrined together.  The evening Aarti draws a devoted local crowd - a nice way to experience it as a living place of worship, not just a monument.

Excellent religious place and an ancient hotspot for Jaipur tourism. It is well designed and well maintained. It is very well known and well recognised and worshipped particularly by the Hindus. A lot of functions related to Lord Rama are being organised regularly which are really beautiful and must watch. The interiors are eye catching and well maintained. All the Walls are beautifully decorated with scriptures. The structure of the temple is also beautifully designed and built. It has many rooms where the organisers and owners live. The entrance and exit are attractive. The priest is really a good human with good behaviour and humanity. He calmly provides us with the Tilak and Prasad. You can have a good time offering prayers. If anyone is in Jaipur or wants to visit Jaipur, then Mandir Shree Ramchandra Ji is a must visit for an amazing experience.
