History & About

Sri Radha Vinodi Lal Ji Temple, also known as Sri Sri Radha Vinoda Temple, is one of Jaipur’s respected Gaudiya Vaishnava temples. Situated in the old Tripolia Bazar area, the temple is modest in size but spiritually significant. Its worship centers on Sri Sri Radha Vinoda, the deities traditionally served by Srila Lokanatha Goswami, an intimate associate of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu through daily temple worship.

The temple’s history begins in Vrindavan, where Srila Lokanatha Goswami served Sri Radha Vinoda. During the 1670 attacks on Vrindavan temples under Aurangzeb’s rule, several Gaudiya Vaishnava deities were moved to Rajasthan for protection. Sri Radha Vinoda came to Jaipur, where the worship continued, preserving a living link with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s early Vrindavan mission and the devotional lineage of the Goswamis in Rajasthan’s sacred city.
