āju nava śyāma vinodinī rā-i
tanu tanu atanu yuta śata sebita
labaṇi baraṇi nā yā-i

śārada sudhākara maṇḍala khaṇḍana
badana kamala bikāśa
adhare milāyata śyāma manohara
cita corāyali hāsa
Verse 3
bari bakula-phule āphula ali-kula
madhu pibi pibi utarola
sakala alańkṛti karuṇa jhańkṛti
kińkiṇī raṇaraṇi bola
Verse 4
pada-pańkaja para maṇimaya nūpura
pūrita khañjana bhāṣa
madana mukura janu nakha maṇi-darapaṇa
nichani gobinda-dāsa
Verse 1
Today Radha appears newly playful with dark Krishna, her whole body served by hundreds of Cupids; her loveliness cannot be described.
Verse 2
Defeating the orb of the autumn moon, her lotus face blossoms; when dark Krishna, the stealer of hearts, mingles at her lips, her laughter steals the mind.
Verse 3
Bees swarm about her, having drunk their fill of honey from the bakula flowers she wears; all her ornaments make a soft, sweet jingling sound.
Verse 4
On her lotus feet, jewelled anklets echo the cry of the khanjana bird; her toenails, like Cupid's own mirror, dazzle -- so sings Govinda Dasa.
