Hare krishana... I didnt expect such a huge temple complex in Vrindavan like Govind dev ji temple! Such a gigantic temple is fully constructed by red sandstone. The architecture is amazing and i dont have any words to explain how much beautiful it is! I was visited at summr time and obviously the temperature was so high. So the best time is winter season to visit here. Outside was so hot, when i enter inside the temple i felt very cool like enter into an airconditioned room. But there is nothing inside, only the effect of the stones. When i enter the room i felt looked on in amazement because of the high raised ceiling, giant pillars and a vast area. There is an atractive lotus carving on the ceiling. It was built in 1590 AD by Raja Man Singh of Amer. Originally a magnificent seven-story red sandstone structure blending Hindu, Western, and Islamic architecture, it was partially destroyed by Emperor Aurangzeb in 1670, leaving it with three stories. This giant temple is Dedicated to Lord Krishna (Govind Dev) and Radha. The original idol was moved to Jaipur for safekeeping, but worship continues at the sacred Vrindavan site. The timing for darshan is daily from morning 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Entry is Free for all visitors. Nearest railway station is Mathura Junction. Yamuna river is nearby this temple. Another intresting thing is lot of torists are unaware about this temple and there was no crowd compare to other temples i have visited in Vrindavan. If you planning to visit Vrindavan dont miss this marvelous creation!

Govind Deo Temple Govind Deo tample is one of the mast irapressive and magnificent templs of the region, built in red sandstone. The timple midal roof originally comprised tarea interconnected shrinas, a closed mandapa with pyrom and a spacious assembly hall approached from three sides through double marted Impressive porticos. . The doorway and intel of the garbhagrihe is efeberately carved with figuma and floral designs depicting stawing door keepers in fower portion of jambs. A significant feature of the temple is provision of balcony and bracketed arches. The absence of emberffsimants on its axtarmal and Inte walls is perhaps due to islamic infec prohibitting display dis of lemagery. The closed mandapa dapa in front of the contrastinats tha on plan and has stapped shiklare. The flanking shrine is built in pancharatha style. The ground plan of central halil is Latin cross shape. The temple has an imposing vaulted ceilin ctural style. A dufaced Samku Showing strong influence of contemporary Afurial architectura of Aurangab Jalpur dus lascription ob one of its walls records that I wa built in Samval 1617 or 1500 CLE. by Raja Ma Singh of Amber.
