Arguably most famous temple in Vrindavan which attracts visitors from all the world. You find your way through narrow streets to enter the main shrine. The idols are covered and uncovered frequently. Usually there is a huge rush, but we were lucky - recommended time for Darshan is early morning. Expect big numbers on weekends/ popular days and plan accordingly.

A truly divine and unforgettable experience at Banke Bihari Ji Temple, Vrindavan. The atmosphere inside the temple is incredibly spiritual and energetic. The beautiful traditional architecture, intricate carvings, silver work, and the beautifully decorated sanctum make the visit special. Getting darshan of Shri Banke Bihari Ji is a deeply moving experience. The temple can get extremely crowded, especially during busy hours, so be prepared for a lot of devotees and queues. Despite the crowd, the devotion and positive energy around the temple are something you can really feel. A must-visit for anyone coming to Vrindavan. Radhe Radhe! 🌸🙏

Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple is an experience that is difficult to describe in words. I reached the temple right after it opened in the morning, thinking the early hours might be comparatively less crowded, but it was already extremely packed with devotees. The narrow lanes around the temple become very congested, especially with such a massive number of devotees. I also noticed that there is no dedicated shoe-deposit room, which would certainly be a useful facility considering the huge crowds. Yet, beyond all these practical challenges, the atmosphere was simply electrifying. The chants of Radhe Radhe, the devotion of the pilgrims and the anticipation of seeing Banke Bihari Ji created an incredibly powerful spiritual atmosphere. There was an energy here that I have rarely experienced anywhere else. I was particularly fortunate to meet a Sant who helped make my darshan possible and much more manageable. I am sincerely grateful for his kindness and guidance. And finally, standing before Shri Banke Bihari Ji made all the difficulties of the journey feel completely insignificant. The darshan was deeply emotional, peaceful and profoundly divine. There are some moments that you experience rather than describe, and this was certainly one of them. Despite the overwhelming crowd and congestion, the spiritual experience was absolutely unforgettable. I feel truly blessed and grateful that I was able to have darshan of Banke Bihari Ji. Visiting Banke Bihari Temple was a deeply spiritual experience, and the divine atmosphere is truly unforgettable. However, the crowd management could be improved. The darshan moves so quickly that devotees hardly get a few seconds to have a proper glimpse of Shri Banke Bihari Ji. It would be wonderful if devotees were allowed a little more time to peacefully offer prayers and seek blessings. Better crowd regulation could make the experience more fulfilling while maintaining order. Despite this, the temple is a must-visit for every Krishna devotee.

Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan is a beautiful and spiritually calming place. The atmosphere inside the temple feels truly divine and peaceful. Parking for bikes costs around ₹20. One unique thing about the temple is that the curtain in front of Lord Krishna’s idol closes every few minutes. It is believed that devotees become so emotionally attached to Banke Bihari Ji’s eyes that he may spiritually follow them home like a loving child. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a must-visit place in Vrindavan.
