Translation

Verse 1

The sages and demigods, filled with joy, released showers of flowers; the clouds thundered gently, softly, echoing over the ocean.

Verse 2

At midnight, when darkness had spread, as Janardana was taking birth from Devaki, who bore a divine form, Lord Visnu, who dwells within the hearts of all, appeared just as the full moon rises on the eastern horizon.
