abatara kaila bada bada
emana karuna kona yuge nahi ara
Verse 2
prati ghare ghare suni premera kandana
kali-yuge hari-nama rahila ghosana
Verse 3
sukha sayarera ghate diya premera bhara
bhala hata patiyacha premera pasara
Verse 4
jaga-i madha-i tara chila du-i bha-i
hari-nama uddharila caitanya gosañi
Verse 5
basudeba ghosa kahe na habe emana
kali-yuge dhanya nama caitanya-ratana
Verse 1
The Lord has descended as a great incarnation. Such mercy has never appeared in any other age.
Verse 2
In every house I hear the weeping of love. In Kali-yuga the holy name of Hari has been proclaimed.
Verse 3
At the landing place on the ocean of happiness He has loaded the boat with love, and He has opened a fine marketplace of love.
Verse 4
There were two brothers, Jagai and Madhai. Lord Caitanya delivered them by the holy name of Hari.
Verse 5
Vasudeva Ghosa says: There will never be another like this. In Kali-yuga the name Caitanya is a blessed jewel.
