Verse 1
hari hari! āra ki emana daśā haba
e bhava saṁsāra tyaji parama ānande maji
āra kabe vrajabhūme yāba
Verse 2
sukhamaya vṛndāvana kabe habe daraśana
se dhūli mākhiba kabe gāya
preme gada gada haiyā rādhā-kṛṣṇa nāma laiyā
kāṅdiyā beḍāba ubharāya
Verse 3
nibhṛta nikuñje yāiyā aṣṭāṅga praṇata haiyā
ḍākiba hā rādhānātha bali
kabe yamunāra tīre paraśa kariba nīre
kabe piba karapuṭe tuli
Verse 4
āra kabe emana haba śrī rāsa-maṇḍale yāba
kabe gaḍāgaḍi diba tāya
vaṁśīvaṭa chāyā pāiyā parama ānanda haiyā
paḍiyā rahiba tāra chāya
Verse 5
kabe govardhana giri dekhiba nayana bhari
kabe habe rādhākuṇḍe vāsa
bhramite bhramite kabe e deha patana habe
kahe dīna narottama dāsa
Verse 1
When will I renounce the circle of material family life and, drowning in transcendental bliss, go to Vrajabhumi? O Lord Hari, Lord Hari, when will this be?
Verse 2
When will I see the blissful land of Vrndavana? When will I smear the dust of Vrndavana over my body? When will I walk about Vrndavana, loudly singing the names of Radha and Krsna and crying, my voice choked with ecstatic love?
Verse 3
When, in a solitary grove in Vrndavana, will I offer my full obeisances to the Divine Couple and call out, "O master of Radha!"? When, standing on the shore of the Yamuna, will I touch its water and drink some of it from my cupped hands?
Verse 4
When will this be? When will I go to the arena of the rasa dance and roll about in its dust? When will I reach the shade of Vamsivata and, overwhelmed with transcendental bliss, fall down and remain lying in its shade?
Verse 5
When will I gaze at Govardhana Hill to my heart's content? When will I reside at Radha-kunda? When, as I constantly wander in Vrndavana, will this body fall down? So says the lowly Narottama dasa.
