Verse 1
Calling out "Hari!", our Gaura has come!
Verse 2
He has come, moon-like Gauranga, overflowing and staggering with love; together with Nitai and Advaita, he has entered Godruma.
Verse 3
Intoxicated with the mellow of sankirtana, he distributed the holy name; arriving at the very marketplace of the name, he flooded the whole world with love.
Verse 4
Today the sorrow of Godruma's residents has gone far away; coming together with his host of devotees, he has awakened the marketplace of the name.
Verse 5
Wandering through Nadia, Gaura has come to the marketplace of the name; Gaura has come to that marketplace, and Nitai too has come there with him.
Verse 6
Intoxicated Nitai dances on the field of Godruma; Nitai maddens the whole world with the wrestling-bout of divine love.
Verse 7
Go and see for yourself! Advaita and the host of devotees dance at landing after landing along the riverbank; the formidable Kali flees, falling into utter confusion.
Verse 8
With what joy have the living beings been flooded, afloat in the dance of Gaurachandra! Seeing and hearing it, the very hearts of the faithless blasphemers burst with envy.
