Verse 1
On the banks of the celestial Ganges River I will dwell in a cottage at Surabhi-kunj in Godruma-dhama. This land of Godruma is very conductive for performing devotional worship of the Supreme Lord and is nondifferent from the sacred place called Nandagram, located in the holy district of Mathura.
Verse 2
There, in a cottage in the Surabhi-kunja, I will sit on the bank of the celestial river.
Verse 3
I will put on the garb that is dear to the devotees of Lord Gaurasundara and wear the twelve Vaisnava tilaka markings on my body and beautiful beads of tulasi wood around my neck. Then, by planting flowering trees like Campaka, Bakula, Kadamba, and Tamala, I will make an extensive grove by my cottage.
Verse 4
Planting champak, bakul, kadamba, and tamāl trees, I will establish a large grove.
Verse 5
I will plant mādhavī and mālatī creepers to climb those trees, and in the middle of the grove I will make a shady pavilion.
Verse 6
I will plant rows of various forest flowers there and decoratively arrange jūthis, jātis, and mallīs.
Verse 7
I will place Tulasī Mahārāṇī on a raised platform and keep instruments for kīrtan there.
Verse 8
In the association of devotees, I will sing the Name. All glories to Godrumdwīp! All glories to the abode of Śrī Gaurāṅga!
Verse 9
Bhakti Vinod glorifies all that is favourable to devotion. All glories to the groves, the grass, and the bank of the River Ganges!
