Lord Krsna wears yellow garments and His lovely, dark complexioned body is decorated with sandalwood paste. While He enjoys loving pastimes with His gopis, His jewel earrings dance over His cheeks as He smiles at them.
Verse 2
here, O playful one, Hari revels among a host of enchanted young women, absorbed in amorous sport.
Verse 3
One cowherd girl, embracing Hari tightly with the weight of her full, heavy breasts, sings after him with deepest passion, her love rising ever higher.
Verse 4
Another enchanted young woman meditates intently on the lotus face of Madhusudana, her passion aroused by the playful, restless glances they exchange.
Verse 5
Another, drawing close to his cheek as if to whisper something in his ear, her hair bristling with delight, sweetly kisses her beloved.
Verse 6
Another, eager for the sport of love, pulls him by the hem of his garment into a lovely bower of vanjula trees on the bank of the Yamuna.
Verse 7
As his flute sounds sweetly to the rhythm of clapping hands and the tinkling of bracelets, a young doe-eyed gopi, dancing beside him in the rasa dance, praises him again and again.
Verse 8
He embraces one, kisses another, delights yet another in love; he gazes with a lovely smile upon one more, and follows after another still, graceful and charming.
Verse 9
May this song of Sri Jayadeva, revealing the wondrous secret of Keshava's amorous sport so charmingly played out in the forest of Vrindavana, bestow auspiciousness and glory.
