Verse 1
The flute plays again and again; amid the loud lowing and mingled cries of the cows, all the cattle graze, immersed in joy.
Verse 2
Surrounded by his wealth of cows, the joyful descendant of Yadu sports on the bank of the Yamuna; Dama, Sridama, Sudama, and mighty Balarama, together with the cowherd boys, form his heroic company.
Verse 3
Dressed alike in age and attire, his hair beautifully adorned, a peacock feather and bright flowers crowning his head, a jewelled necklace and fresh, lovely gunja beads -- to see him bewilders the minds of all the world.
Verse 4
Bracelets and small drums, golden bells at his waist, anklets ringing softly -- Govinda Dasa says the Lord sports like this every single day, in the assembly of the fresh, cloud-dark forest.
