Prayāga is also called Tīrtharāja, the king of all places of pilgrimage. This holy place is situated on the confluence of the rivers Ganges and Yamunā.

As per the Matsya, Padma, and Agni Puranas, this is Prayagraj’s main temple. Lord Veni Madhav, a Shaligrama Vigraha of Vishnu, presides here.

Sri Roop Gaudiya Math aims to spread Shri Radha-Krishna’s love and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s teachings through its temple and Chaitanya Padmapeeth.

Mankameshwar Temple, 6 km from Allahabad Railway Station near Saraswati Ghat, is dedicated to Lord Shiv. Built by Lord Ram for Sita, it is believed to fulfill wishes.
