Srila Jayadeva Goswami
Sri Jayadeva Goswami, a distinguished 11th-century Vaishnava acharya and poet, was the chief pandita in the court of King Sri Laksman Sena. Born to Bhojadeva and Bama Devi in Kendu-bilvagram, Birhum, he is best known for his devotional work, Gita-Govinda, which beautifully describes the divine pastimes of Lord Radha and Krishna.
His worshipable Deities, Sri Sri Radha-Madhava, are venerated in Jaipur.
